Friday the 'Profliga' had a meeting. The previous time the Big Five left early. "We won't return before our project is completely fulfilled", says Bruges-chairman Michel D'Hooghe.

"Pro-ject is also the new name of our group. The G5 also stood for "group", but it became 'great' and 'greedy' later on", explained D'Hooghe.
Michel Verschueren does the talking for Pro-ject. "I don't say we should direct all 13 clubs, but also not the opposite way. We can't play without them, and they have no tv-contract without us."

Anderlecht, Club Bruges, AA Gent, Racing Genk and Standard have a secret meeting Wednesday. They will evaluate a plan that should give them more power.
The topclubs called the other clubs recently with the question "who wants to participate". Wednesday they will evaluate the result of that action. If 7 clubs want to co-operate, there is a 2/3 majority to take decisions. The G5 thinks they don't have enough power.

The G5 wants to replace Jean-Marie Philips by Michel Verschueren. "The small teams have to much power", says Anderlecht-chairman Vanden Stock.
