Anderlecht striker Mbo Mpenza seems to be glued to the bench lately. The Anderlecht staff has decided the player is allowed to leave. "We want to work out a solution for both parties," said manager Van Holsbeeck in Het Nieuwsblad.

"Mpenza has always been very professional, that's why we want the best for him. To be clear: the player is not forced to leave."

One name that has been dropped is that of Mouscron, Mpenza's ex-team. Ex-Anderlecht striker Nenad Jestrovic has vowed to bring the oldest of the Mpenza brothers to the Emirates too.

In related news, a solution for Serhat Akin and Christian Keiva is researched as well.
