Vercauteren focused on victory

With Genk momentarily taking the lead, Anderlecht cannot afford to drop points against Beveren. Coach Vercauteren, however, claims the result of Genk makes little difference. "We should focus on our own game."


"Beveren is fighting relegation and I'm expecting a difficult match. It's a game people think we should easily win. It's up to us to live up to that challenge."

After the Beveren game awaits a difficult cup match against Standard. "We're going for the victory, of course. Those three matches in a row demand a lot of energy. That's why I keep saying we need every single player in the squad," said Vercauteren.
