This evening the 50st Golden Shoe is given away. Observers, press and players have the same opinion: only Walter Baseggio can keep Aruna from winning the first 'Afrikan' Golden Shoe.

So Anderlecht has 2 big favourites in its team. But Vincent Kompany can win the trophy, but as an outsider.
Also Timmy Simons, the winner of the previous edition, has little chance. He also thinks Aruna will win this year, like many others.
Almost everyone has the same opinion: Aruna, the great Yvorian striker, will win the Golden Shoe. Because the favourite wins almost every year, there's a 90% chance that Aruna will return home with the trophy.
Also Aruna hopes to win the trophy: "It would be the proof of my evolution as a human as well as a football player. Because I became calmer. I'm growing up", says the 23-years old striker.
