Legear: "Proven my worth for Anderlecht"

Jonathan Legear was handed a place in the starting line-up in tuesday's cup game and played a good first half. "It's not easy for young players to claim a place in the starting line-up," knows the right winger.


"The last months before the new year I felt really fit but I didn't get a lot of opportunities then. Afterwards my form was less than par, but now I'm slowly getting back to form."

The player realises that it is difficult to prove your worth for a club like Anderlecht, where the pressure to perform is very high. "It's all or nothing basically. It's incredibly hard to compete with players like Hassan for a place in the starting line-up."
