Vercauteren: "players prefered to train"

This week the Anderlecht players had the choice between a day off and a regular day of training. "They preferred to train," says Vercauteren, who praises the mentality. According to the coach, the team is ready to give everything.


There will be a number of substitutions, however. A couple of players will be given some rest. "I want the performances to be as high as possible. That becomes difficult for certain players if they have to play three games a week. And I'm taking a couple of small injuries into account as well. Such is the case for Legear for exmaple. Frutos wants to play every game he can, but we consider that a bit risky. We'll discuss the matter further with a couple of players."
