Assistent-trainer Glen De Boeck and keeper trainer Jacky Munaron will leave the club in June. That's what many newspapers wrote today. Their contracts end after this season and the club is not eager to offer them a new one.
Anderlecht want to replace them with Ariël Jacobs and Filip De Wilde. They both seem to be interested in the job. Meanwhile, De Boeck and Munaron didn't want to react on the rumour.
Press attaché Pierre Desmet explained the situation: "There will be an evaluation after the game against Standard. It's not correct to state that their contracts won't be renewed. Herman Van Holsbeeck will negociate later on with them both."
"Franky Vercauteren will make a report and we'll use it for our evaluation. We'll consider sportive and personal facts. We're not sure what Glen and Jacky want? That's an important aspect too."
"Munaron did a good job. He made Zitka to the best keeper in Belgium. And about De Boeck? We are indeed interested in Ariël Jacobs. But nothing had been decided yet."
