Anderlecht interest in Geraerts

In the past Anderlecht have shown interest in Karel Geraerts and it appears that interest has not waned. Anderlecht manager Van Holsbeeck claimed the club is still tracking the Standard midfielder.


"We are looking for a midfielder that can go from one box to the other. In Belgium we have a player of that type, namely Karel Geraerts of Standard. The question remains if he is the type of player that can give us a plus in the Champions League."

Gearaerts is considered to be an opportunity because he is at the end of his contract with his current club.
