Vercauteren: “Not enough sharpness”

Coach Vercauteren was not happy after the game against Zulte Waregem. He was disappointed about the result and the way the team played. “We missed sharpness today”, said Vercauteren.


“The good news is that Zulte didn’t score. But our strikers weren’t very good today. The quality was not good. It’s not that we were too enthusiastic”, said Vercauteren.

“This proves that you have to evaluate yourself every game. The quality makes the difference in football. If you aren’t motivated enough, you can’t win a game, that doesn’t exist in football.”
