Vercauteren: "Chasing Genk"

Coach Frank Vercauteren is relieved that Anderlecht managed to grab a point in injury time. Even though he had hoped for more and claims a victory would have been deserved.


"We have to chase Racing Genk again. I have a hard time remaining silent about the refereeing. We are happy to grab a point in the very last minutes of the game. But on the other hand we're unhappy because we deserved more than just a point."

"Especially in the second half we were playing well and created lots of chance. Unfortunately we didn't succeed in scoring."

After last night's drawing, Anderlecht is trailing two points behind Racing Genk. "There are still plenty of games. Genk is in control and we are forced to chase them."
