Manager Herman Van Holsbeeck was relieved that Anderlecht managed to grab a last-minute point. He went on to praise the mentality of the group: "We were happy to grab a point because after 90 minutes we were still 1-0 behind."

"But if you look at our chances in the second half we deserved perhaps more. The point is more than deserved. During the first half the quality of our gameplay was not up to par, but at least we continued to put up a fight. I'm happy with the mentality of the group."

"In a short period of time we'll play Racing Genk three times, including two cup games. It's a chance to finally set right the 1-4 loss we suffered at home," said Van Holsbeeck.
