Baseggio hopeful for more

Last saturday Walter Baseggio was substituted for Ahmed Hassan for the final ten minutes of the game against Mouscron. The Anderlecht crowd welcomed the midfielder back by chanting his name serveral times during the game.


"It was amazing what the supporters did. I didn't expect such a warm welcoming," admits Baseggio in Gazet van Antwerpen. He now hopes to be given more opportunities in the near future. "I'm fit and ready to play. I hope to play more during the following games."
