Anderlecht defeated Mouscron with 2-1. Everything happened in an exciting first half. The three goals were scored within 6 minutes. The second half was rather boring, with Anderlecht controling the game.

Anderlecht took a good start and played at a high pace. This resulted in a few good attacks and some chances. Though it was Mouscron that opened the score with a header of Teklak.

Anderlecht equalised one minute later. A good fast attack over the wing resulted in a good center. The ball fell into the box where Toyes made an own-goal under pressure of the Anderlecht strikers.

The Mauves kept pushing Mouscron back and created many chances in just a few minutes time. It was Frutos who could bring the Brussels' team ahead after a blunder in the Mouscron defense.

Anderlecht tried to increase the lead before the pause, but several good chances were missed. This way, the score remained 2-1 at half time.

The second half was a lot worse. After a few chances, Anderlecht dropped the pace and Mouscron fought themselves back into the game. Zitka had to save the home side for several times. But also the defenders had to stay focused on various dangerous occassions.

The only danger from the home-side came on counter-attacks with the fast Boussoufa. But he couldn't score, just as his opponents. The final score was 2-1.
