Ahmed Hassan already told before in the Egyptian press that he returns to Egypt after this season. Yesterday the Egyptian affirmed that it's for 95% sure that he leaves Anderlecht at the end of the season.

In the match against Bruges, Hassan started on the bench. 'I accept that statute, but I find it still strange. I never sat on the bench before in my whole career. I thought I could play after the first half but the coach brought me in to the end of the game", tells Hassan.

The midfielder has it especially difficult with the fact he doesn't get a free role on the field. "I'm playing already my whole career in a free role. You don't ask Ronaldinho to play as a leftback, do you? When the trainer gives tactical guidelines to the other players, I don't get it sometimes. On the Africa Cup, I was chosen as the best player of the tournament by trainers and journalists, while Drogba and Essien were playing there aswell. Do those people know nothing from football then?

"Give me a freel role and let the supporters decide if I play well. The fans of Anderlecht always supported me. If I leave on the end of the season, I expect that the club will help me", according to Hassan.

But not only sportive reasons play a role in the leaving of Hassan, there are also familial reasons why he returns to Egypt after this season. "My sons Hassan and Alhabibe are seven and four years old, but I don't see them growing up. Therefore I don't feel very well. Let the come over to Brussels is no option, the culture difference is too big", said the international.
