Tonight Anderlecht are playing against Westerlo, but Walter Baseggio, who returned from Treviso, is not allowed to play yet. Vercauteren: "I did not insisted on the arrival of Walter Baseggio, but he is welcome here."


"He lost a lot of weight and is physically sharper. Hopefully he can keep up that level, because I wait for confirmation." The trainer looks satisfied with the three new players but there is a lot of competition on each position now. "I'm not afraid to take tough decisions, I like a good battle for a spot in the line-up, it's the only way to make the performance better", according to Vercauteren.
