Germinal Beerschot - RSC Anderlecht: 1-3

RSC Anderlecht managed to defeat Germinal Beerschot this evening. The final result was 1-3 after two goals by Mémé Tchité. Goalkeeper Daniël Zitka was the man of the match with a great performance.


Anderlecht started very fast and had a good scoring opportunity in the first minute. But also Germinal Beerschot started furious and it resulted in an interesting and exciting first half. Both team had a couple of chance, but Anderlecht was the first team to score. Mémé Tchité opened the score shortly before the break.

After a foul, Beerschot had the chance to score the equalizer from the penalty spot, but Daniël Zitka smothered the ball. A couple of minutes later, Tchité was able to score his second goal of the evening. Nevertheless, the game was not over yet. François Sterchele scored the 1-2 with a great effort. Vercauteren brought more pressure to the front, and that resulted in the 1-3 score after a header by new signing Wasilewski.
