Anderlecht won against FC Brussels yesterday, but it was a close bet. With this victory, coach Frank Vercauteren can be relieved. Mémé Tchité was the man of the match, but Vercauteren also wanted to thank goalie Daniël Zitka.

"Zitka saved us, but we didn't give away many chances. It was the first time in a long period that we were able to catch not a single goal. We are the big winners of this weekend, that is clear", reacted Vercauteren.

The winter break is very welcome for Anderlecht. "We need some rest now. The season already started this summer. We miss sharpness and freshness, but I can't say anything bad about our mentality. If you are able to score the winning goal in the final minutes, it means that you have a group with a positive mentality", the Anderlecht coach said.
