Mpenza: “I love playing for Anderlecht”

Mbo Mpenza is back. After a period of injuries and sitting on the bench the striker proved that he’s ready again. Thanks to his goals, Anderlecht make still a chance to go to the UEFA-cup.


“I have worked really hard the past few weeks to stay in form. And it worked. It has been difficult for, especially psychological but I believed in myself”, said Mbo.

About the future Mbo is very clear: “I think I have shown what I’m worth and that I can mean a lot to the team. I’ve never said I wanted to leave the team. I love playing for Anderlecht and I hope I can stay.”
