Daniël Zitka will not be ready for the important game of tomorrow against Lille, so Schollen will be the goalkeeper. He didn’t play a very good game against Ghent, but he tries to stay positive.

“We play with Adidas-balls tomorrow, that’s a big difference because in Ghent we played with Nike-balls. They are very light and they go very fast, that makes it very difficult for a keeper. Another positive thing is that I can prepare myself for this game. Against Ghent I didn’t realise I was actually playing a game until the second half. I saw Zitka the day after and he was very disappointed”, said Schollen.

It’s not the first time that Schollen plays a Champions League-game: “I had to substitute Moons once against AS Roma when I still played for Genk. The most important thing is to keep the nil. Van Steenberghe advised me to stay calm and to grow in the game.”

Schollen is not worried about the national team: “I was very surprised about my selection. But it means that Vandereycken knows my qualities. I don’t want to think about the Red Devils. The game against Lille is the only thing that counts at the moment’, concludes Schollen.
