Van Holsbeeck: "We gave away the victory"

Manager Herman Van Holsbeeck was very unhappy after the defeat against AA Ghent, and surely with the way Anderlecht played. "Of course the whole group is disappointed, because we just gave away the victory", the manager reacted.


"That stupid penalty foul just brought Ghent back in the match. It was on the worst possible moment. We deserved a draw, but this is football. If we want to win against Lille next Tuesday, we have to play much better than this. But it wouldn't be a first time we play a great match after a poor performance like this", said Van Holsbeeck.
