Vercauteren announced his selection

Today, Franky Vercauteren announced the selection for the game against Ghent. 18 players are selected but there are still some doubts. Frutos isn’t ready. Juhasz and Tchité are not sure if the will be ready.


Nicolas Pareja is in the selection. He started training with the group on Monday. If Tchité is ready will be clear tomorrow. Vadis and Proto trained with the group but it’s too soon for a game. Allagui and Siani are playing with the reserves.

Akin, Biglia, Boussoufa, De Man, Deschacht, Goor, Hassan, Juhasz, Lamah, Legear, Mpenza, Pareja, Schollen, Tchite, Van Damme, Vanden Borre, Vanderhaeghe, Zitka

Vercauteren gave some comment:
“We know it will be hard against Ghent. We had a very difficult week. Some of the players were injured and healed this week. That’s not easy physically and mentally. Sunday Genk and Bruges play against each other so we can be the winner of the weekend. But first of all we have to make sure that we win”, said Vercauteren.
