After the 4-1 defeat, many people criticize manager Herman Van Holsbeeck. He spent a lot of money to buy several new players, but they don't pay off. Nevertheless, Van Holsbeeck defends his investment and says they just need time.

"Take for example Lucas Biglia", states the manager. "Many teams are scouting him, I think his market value has doubled already. That says it. We should keep this strong team and add some extra investments."

Also Cristian Leiva is defended by Van Holsbeeck. "The Leiva we saw playing against Athens was not the one we scouted in Argentina last season. He will bring us to a higher level in the future."
