Tonight Anderlecht won against Lierse with 2-0. Ahmed Hassan, who just became father, scored the 2 goals. The result is not a big surprise given that Lierse is the last team of the ranking.

First of all there is some bad news. It seems to be that Frutos will be badly injured. The player had to be carried of the field and it seemed that he was in a lot of pain. The Argentinean player could be injured for a long time.

The first half wasn’t very good. Anderlecht was the best team but they couldn’t convince. Tchité played from the beginning. Frutos was the first player who was able to score but the goal got turned down. A few minutes later Anderlecht managed to score. Frutos passed the ball to Hassan: 1-0. Hassan celebrated the birth of his daughter with the goal.

The second half started like the first one: weak. After 7 minutes Anderlecht scored for the second time: 2-0, Hassan again. A few minutes later Verheyen got his second yellow card of the game and it was 11 against 10. Anderlecht tried to score a few times but it didn’t work out the way they wanted. Frutos injured himself and Akin substituted him. Also Mbo en Legear came in the team. And than the show began. Another player from Lierse got a red card and Anderlecht got a penalty. Hassan missed that one and the fans were mad. They wanted Zitka to take the penalty. 5 minutes later Anderlecht got another penalty, this time Zitka took the penalty. He missed too. What could end in a 3-0 or 4-0 only ended in a 2-0.
This Wednesday Anderlecht play against Milan, they will have to do their best to play a good game.
