Proto almost fit

After a few months of inactivity Silvio Proto is allowed to increase his training intensity. He’s looking forward to play again and he predicts to be back very soon.


“The rehabilitation wasn’t easy. I had to train individually and that’s a bit depressing. But the end is near and I’m very positive about the future”, says the goalkeeper.

Proto’s first aim, after being 100% back, is to take place on the bench in the last game of the Champions League: “I want to be in the selection the 6th of December against Athens. It won’t be easy to become the first goalkeeper again because Zitka is playing very well. But I’ll do my best and I don’t feel like sitting on the bench for a long time.”
