The defeat against Racing Genk showed that the Anderlecht defence still misses experience and maturity. Midfielder Yves Vanderhaeghe claims to have found a good solution. He is willing to play in the defence.

"We make too many small mistakes and catch too many stupid goals. There is no real structure and we make tactical mistakes. We already lost many points because of that. We have a good attack, but our defence is our weak spot", explains Vanderhaeghe.

Yves Vanderhaeghe already played in the defence in a friendly game and is willing to play on that position in the future. "Also in Aalst and Mouscron I played as a defender. I prefer playing on the midfield, because it's less exhausting. But if I can help the team by playing in the defence, why wouldn't I do that?"
