Van Damme and Frutos react after the defeat

Jelle Van Damme watched the game against Racing Genk again and was ashamed of his own performance. "I understand the reaction of the fans. I played a very poor game, but it won't happen again. I will only play when I'm fit again."


"I'm really ashamed of my performance. Of course it's not only my fault that we lost that game, but I can do much better than this", reacted Van Damme.

Nicolas Frutos criticized coach Franky Vercauteren. "There is no structure in our team. We are changing all the time. Maybe we should play with one fixed team in the future? Maybe it's difficult because we play so many games, but I think we should try", stated the Argentinian striker.
