Soetaers: "I have much respect for Vercauteren"

Tonight Tom Soetaers is playing in the Astrid Park for the first time since he left Anderlecht six years ago. "No particular feeling, I played here for 10 years. Why did I not stay here?"

"Just because I did not play enough. Concurrence was strong with Koller and Radzinski. I preferred leaving the club than putting my career in danger. I have much respect for Vercauteren because he did a lot for my own developpement", he said.
