Anderlecht avoided their first defeat in half a year with a goal of Bart Goor in stoppage time. Earlier, Charleroi had come one up through Camus. It was a hard game with a lot of incidents and just a few chances...

Anderlecht took the best start. They had the most ball possession, but besides a few small chances through Hassan, Frutos and Biglia there was no danger. Smolders and Oulmers had the best chances for the home-side.

Despite the lack of chances, the game was far from boring. Charleroi lost Akpala after two minutes and Vanderhaeghe got yellow after a kick on his replacement Habibou. It was just one of the many incidents.

All this continued in the second half. The game got even tougher and also Charleroi coach Matthijsen participated in the many clashes.

Meanwhile, Anderlecht had taken command of the game. Frutos and Boussoufa were the closest from opening the score with good efforts. Tchité reinforced the offensive line. He was swapped with Hassan.

Suddenly, the home side came back into the game. Zitka had to save the Mauves on good attempts of Chabaub, Ciman and Oulmers. Though the goalie was defenceless on a hard shot of Camus: 1-0.

Anderlecht seemed to be knock-out, but in the last few minutes, the Mauves pushed forward again. Legear and Mbokani were thrown into battle and also Zitka left his goal on a corner kick of Boussoufa. In the 93rd minute, the equalizer was made by Bart Goor. He kicked the ball in one time against the net on a long throw-in from Biglia: 1-1, the final result.
