Deschacht surprised with his position

Defender Olivier Deschacht played as a central defender last Saturday against Sporting Lokeren. His usual position, namely left back, was taken by Jelle Van Damme. Deschacht says he is suprised.

Deschacht: "Indeed, it was a bit of a surprise, but I experience it as a confidence sign on the coach's part. It is working quite well with Pareja and we have started talking a sort of English. As in love, the football language is universal".
