Vanden Borre gives an explanation to the press

Since July 14th Vanden Borre hasn't talked to the press anymore. After the game against Lille he explained himself. "I didn't hide myself. There was just no reason to talk to the press. A lot has been said and written.

I won't give any examples, the time isn't right to do that yet."

He also explains why he didn't show up at the press conference. "I knew what I was doing. I wasn't ready to talk to the press yet. That's the only reason why I didn't show up."
