Pareja: "We should have won"

Nicolas Pareja scored his first Champions League goal. Though he was very disappointed after the game. "We controlled the game, but we gave the three points away", he reacted on the UEFA website.


"I scored and I'm happy with that but I'm disappointed because I think we should have won. For me, the result is always more important than any personal achievement. We had the ball all the time at the start, but after we scored we dropped back and that's something we've been doing too much recently. It's our fault and we need to correct our mistakes," Pareja said.

"Lille played well and hit the post a couple of times but all their shots were coming from outside the area. It was only after they made two changes that they organised themselves and, to be honest, we were a bit lost to begin with."
