Van Damme and Frutos soon available?

Anderlecht lost points against Mouscron last weekend, but they have to win their next game. That match is scheduled on September 13. The Mauves will challenge French side Lille in the Champions League.


Both Jelle Van Damme and Nicolas Frutos could be ready for that game. Jelle Van Damme has an ankle injury and did not train since the game with the Red Devils against Armenia, but coach Franky Vercauteren hopes he will be available for the Champions League game. Nicolas Frutos might be a more serious problem. The Argentinian striker did not train and underwent an echo. He will also undergo medical examinations to see the cause of his injury. There is still a chance that he will be ready for Lille, though.
