Reactions Van Damme and Vanderhaeghe

Jelle Van Damme who took place on the bench until the 70th minute admits that he’s disappointed about the fact that he wasn’t in the team from the start. Vanderhaeghe is happy with the 12/12.


Jelle Van Damme: “Of course I’m a bit disappointed that I wasn’t in the team, but the coach was honest with me, it was a tactical choice. I also have to admit that I miss a bit of rhythm. Before I always played left back, now I play more central. My confidence is not 100%.”

Yves Vanderhaeghe: “ Westerlo and St-Truiden were able to score against us, we could have avoided those goals. Against GBA we had a hard time too. The game against Bruges is always difficult. Maybe there was not enough threat in the front, but everything was closed in the back. The most important thing is that we have 12 points and that we are at the top of the ranking.”
