Verschueren: "It's a game of 100 million Belgian Francs"

Michel Verschueren calculated how much money Anderlecht might gain when they qualify for the 1/8 Champions League finals. "This is a game of 100 million old Belgian Francs (2,500,000 euro)", he says.


"The qualification is good for 1,562,500 euro. We have to add the income of the game itself: about 1 million euro", calculates Verschueren.
"With the new system (one game in 2 legs), We also have a bigger chance to qualify for the quarter final. That's the best possible formula for a team like Anderlecht."
