How do the opponents react?

The Anderlecht team agreed that group H ,with Milan, Athens and Lille, is a group where Anderlecht might have a chance to go to round 2. We talked to their opponents and below you can read what they have said.

Michel Seydoux, the president of Lille, is happy that Anderlecht are in the same group as they are. "This will be some kind of derby. A lot of fans will be able to travel to Anderlecht. It will be exciting games against Anderlecht, but we have a chance," Seydoux concludes.

Lille's players agree that AC Milan is group H's favourite. Especially Lille - striker Souleymane Youla thinks the games against RSCA will be special, because he played at Anderlecht before. "It will be weard, because I still have a lot of friends there," Youla says. "Besides, Anderlecht has a beautiful stadium with a lot of atmosphere. But we have a chance on qualification, together with Milan."

At AC Milan they are very happy with the way it turned out, but they are realistic aswell. "We can't underestimate the other teams, because there is a chance that our players will think about the Seria A," they say.

Also at AEK Athens they were relieved. They think that Milan will qualifie and that the other 3 teams will fight for the second position.
