Biglia: “I wanted to keep my shirt”

Another stand out in the game against Real was Lucas Biglia. He probably played his best match since he signed his contract at Anderlecht. But the Argentinean stays modest and thanks the team.


“It’s not only me who played good, it’s the whole team. I hope we can play at this level in the Champions League. If we can realize that, we are able to play a good tournament.”

Biglia was one of the Anderlecht players who wanted to keep his shirt. “I wanted to keep my own shirt as a souvenir.”

De midfielder injured his ankle again against Real. He’s not sure if he will play against Bruges. “My ankle suffers. In the past few weeks I’ve had a lot of kicks on it. I’m afraid that I won’t be able to play against Bruges this Sunday...”
