Although everyone is looking forward to the game against Real, Frutos says that the game against Bruges is more important. “Real is just a team like all the others”, says Frutos.

“Tonight it’s just a friendly game. Playing against them in the Champions League would be more difficult. This game is very good for me and especially for the match rhythm. My team mates are already speculating about the shirts they want. Well, they can have them all.”, says the Argentinean laughing.

Nicolas Frutos is a very important player for the team. He guides the other Argentinean players, and he speaks French fluently. “If you want to play as a striker with Tchite it is very important that you speak the same language. Do I also speak French with Boussoufa? No, I gave him a Spanish dictionary and he tries to speak Spanish.”

He’s not very clear about the Red Devils. “I know a lot of fans dream of a duo Tchite – Frutos. But I try to stay calm, I don’t know the country. But I already have the Argentinian and Italian nationality; I also want the Belgian nationality. The problem is that it can take a while before you get a new nationality. And maybe the Argentinean team will need me in the future. If Alfio Basile (trainer of the Argentinean national team) watches the Champions league, why not?” concludes Frutos.
