On Sunday evening it looked like Schollen was going replace Zitka. The goalie from Anderlecht got injured during the game against Westerlo. Perhaps Wednesday's game brings good news for Schollen.

Schollen wants to give himself 100% for the club. But he doesn't want to stay in the shadow of the other goalkeepers. It has always been his ambition to become first goalkeeper. Unfortunatly, Schollen missed the game against Panathiniakos and the selection for the Red Devils because of an injury. But he'll probably get his chance against Real Madrid.

Schollen was flattered by the interest of Anderlecht and joined the club. According to him, it's normal that a club the size of Anderlecht has 3 or 4 goalkeepers. They are after all active in different competitions, so if one goalie gets injured, it is important to have a good back-up.

Schollen is very positive about the atmosphere under the goalkeepers: "Zitka and I are very good friends, but I also have no problems with the other keepers. There are four of us, so we can better help each other out in stead of making trouble."

The 28-years old goalkeeper cannot promise to stay in Anderlecht. He is very ambitious and doesn't like to be the 3rd choice, but he realise that it will be very difficult to become first goalie, certainly when Proto returns from his injury.

He looks forward to the upcoming Champions League. Anderlecht is a prestigious club. Schollen is prepared to guide the club to new successes. As well in the Champions League as in Belgium. Winning a lot of prizes is therefore his goal.
