Van Holsbeeck: "8 million euros? Undiscussable!"

Herman Van Holsbeeck reacted heavily on the statements made by Lyon - president Aulas. He said that Vincent Kompany was only worth about 7 or 8 million euros. " For that amount, a transfer is undiscussable," Van Holsbeeck says.

"Our price is 16 million euros and we wont let it down. For such a low price we will keep Kompany. 8 million euros is just a joke. A transfer will only be possible if the 3 parties agree. This only proves that the rumours about Vincent having signed a contract already are false. If there is not going to be an acceptable offer, we wont let Vincent go. He is not obliged to leave, we will be happy if he stays," Van Holsbeeck says clearly.
