Anderlecht have to deal with many injuries lately. Not only Nicolas Frutos, but also several other players had to skip yesterday's training. Frutos maybe even needs to be operated on.


Frutos is visiting doctor Huylebroeck on Thursday. He will decide whether the Argentinian striker needs an operation in order to heal his meniscus injury faster. He will miss the game against Westerlo, and probably even the clash against Standard Liège.

Serhat Akin suffered from his calf and also skipped the training. Oleg Iachtchouk still has a hamstring injury. The only good news came from Mbo Mpenza. He seems to be healed from his injury and will be ready for Friday's game against Westerlo.

As already mentioned, Christian Wilhelmsson needed three stitches after a cycling incident. Jonathan Legear went on sick leave and Laminé Traoré twisted his ankle during the teambuilding session at the coast.

But also Michal Zewlakow caught an injury. He got kicked on the knee during a practice game and goalie Silvio Proto was hit on the teeth by Anthony Vanden Borre.
