There is no need to say that there were nothing but happy faces after the victory against Bruges. "I have to congratulate the entire team. They followed my tactics, and it paid off", said Anderlecht coach Franky Vercauteren.

Franky Vercauteren: "We have played a very good game. We had to use a lot of energy in the first half, and that caused some chances for Bruges. But we haven't won the title yet. We just have to keep up this level week after week. Bruges will be mentally down now."

Yves Vanderhaeghe: "Nicolas Frutos was the man of the match today. He made two goals and played very strong. This will motivate us for the upcoming games. But we have to stay focused and work hard to win the title."

Roger Vanden Stock: "We deserved this victory, but we depend very much on Nicolas Frutos. He is a great player. Congratulations to our technical staff. I am very happy, but we have to stay modest."

Glen De Boeck: "The entire team made a great performance. Everyone fulfilled his task. If someone had trouble, another player helped him. It should be like this every week."

Pär Zetterberg: "We were better than Bruges today, and were well-organised. Club Bruges is in trouble now, but the title isn't our yet. If we lose against Lokeren next week, this victory doesn't even count."
