Now that Vincent Kompany is going to be out for several months and will not play again this season, there is a fear that Kompany’s transfer price will drop.
We do not have to fear anything, says Herman Van Holsbeeck.

“After his operation Vincent will be much stronger. If he had had a knee injury, then it would have been much worse. After his operation Kompany will not suffer from his injury ever again.”

“I am not sure now if there is going to be a transfer at the end of the season, but we will not lower our price of 15 million euros. Top clubs know what Vincent is worth and will not doubt to buy him because of this operation. If they use his injury to lower the price, we just won’t listen. We are not selling him for 10 million euros. Of course we won’t mind if Kompany would stay longer. What we do mind is that he will not be there in our race to the title,” concludes the manager.
