It is possible that Vincent Kompany is having his shoulder operated soon. If he goes through with that plan, Vince played his last game of the season at Germinal Beerschot. He would be out for four months.

According to the club, Kompany would be able to play again next week. But the doctor told Kompany that chances of the injury returning are rather high.

That's why Kompany thinks about having an operation which means that he will not be able to play for 4 months. As Vince is planning to leave at the end of the season, he has possibly played his last game for Anderlecht already. An operation would also reduce his market value and that's why Anderlecht hope that Kompany will postpone the operation until the summer.
