Anderlecht offered Goran Lovré a contract for three more years, but the Serbian midfielder does not play often, and wants to leave. There is clearly a row between Lovré and Vercauteren.

"The board wants me to stay. The chairman said he does not understand why I'm not playing. But the coach is the boss. And manager Van Holsbeeck says he believes in me."

"But I am already 23, and I have lost six months already. I cannot waste some more time. I have played for all the Serbian youth squads, but now I won't go to the WC. Everyone believes in me, except for the coach."

"The team does not play well. We have lost twenty points already, and still I am on the bench. Everyone has played, but I haven't. I have several offers, and I am doubting about my future."

"Last season, I played very well. In the friendly games this season, my performance was good too. Still, Vercauteren says I did not play well against Mönchengladbach. But I was ill and I played on the right wing... I was really disappointed not to play against Cercle. I don't belong to his favourites, and I can't do anything about it."
