The management expected more

Anderlecht enters thus into this winter break after that disappointing 1/6. The management has to prepare the second half of the season now.

"We will make offers in January. Getting rid of seven players would be a good thing. But it will be difficult", said Van Holsbeeck.

And what about the new players? According to the manager, the current group can do much better. There will be reinforcement only in case of leaving players.

Concerning the first half of the season, Van Holsbeeck is very clear: "We were expecting much more. The elimination in the cup was a big frustration, we have not showed enough in Champions League and our matches away in the championship were very bad".

Last week, we stood at a dream position but the subsequent 1/6 is painful. Standard and Brugge are there and the second half of the season will be hot".
