Anderlecht left Brussels tonight towards Sevilla. Tomorrow, the Mauves will try to save their honour by taking points against Real Betis. Serhat Akin and Mark De Man stayed home, just like the suspended Nenad Jestrovic.

Chairman Vanden Stock still hopes on at least one point: "for the future of our football", he said. "We are playing for our honour and we'll do anything to get some points. We play to win!"

Trainer Franky Vercauteren didn't give his line-up yet, but he said he was very satisfied with Baseggio's performances of the last few weeks. "If I let him play, it's not to put him in the spotlights so he can get his transfer, but because I believe in him", he said.

Anderlecht: Proto, Juhasz, Kompany, Tihinen, Deschacht, Vanden Borre, Vanderhaeghe, Zetterberg, Goor, Mpenza, Wilhelmsson, Zitka, Zewlakow, Delorge, Tioté, Baseggio, Lovre, Mitu, Iachtchouk, Pujol.

Betis: Doblas, Varela, Juanito, Rivas, Oscar Lopez, Arzu, Assunçao, Rivera, Joaquin, Edu, Xisco
