Three Anderlecht-players called up for U23-game

The Belgian U23-team will challenge Ukraïne during two qualifying games for the EC on 12 and 16 November. For these two games, coach Jean-François De Sart has called up three players of RSC Anderlecht.


Mark De Man, Anthony Vanden Borre and Sylvio Proto will join the U23-squad. Proto replaces Glenn Verbauwhede, who fell out with an injury.

The Belgian U23-squad:

Goal: Proto (Anderlecht) and Verbist (Germinal Beerschot)
Defence: Colpaert (Brussels),Lombaerts (AA Ghent), P.J.Monteyne (GBA), Vanaudenaerde (Club Bruges), Vanden Borre (Anderlecht), Vermaelen (Ajax, Neth), Wuytens (Heracles, Neth)
Midfield: Blondel (Club Bruges), De Man (Anderlecht), Detal (Charleroi) Martens (RKC, Neth), Messoudi (GBA)
Attack: De Ceulaer (RKC, Neth), De Mul (Vitesse, Neth), De Smet (Cercle Bruges), Yulu-Matondo (Club Bruges) and Vandenbergh (RC Genk)
