Anderlecht humiliate Roeselare

RSC Anderlecht have beaten Roeselare tonight with a 5-1 score. Standard de Liège won the topper against Club Brugge with 2-0, which keep them on the first position in the ranking. Anderlecht are one point behind.


The Mauves didn't have any problems with Roeselare tonight and scored 5 times. Trainer Vercauteren left Mbo Mpenza on the bench. Serhat and Jestrovic formed the offensive line of Anderlecht. The Brussels' team didn't have to wait long for a goal. Vanden Borre scored the opener after a nice combination: 1-0 after 3 minutes. Anderlecht weren't satisfied and Baseggio doubled the score with a nice shot: 2-0. Serhat was next to score: 3-0.

Jestrovic even scored twice: one regular goal and one on penalty kick. De Vleeschauwer scored for Roeselare in the 85th minute.
