CL: Liverpool want new defender - Will Cissé leave?

Liverpool, one of Anderlecht's opponents in the Champions League, are looking for reinforcements. The Reds want a new defender and are interested in Italian international Bonera. Liverpool are prepared to pay £4 million.


Earlier, the English club already showed interest in Wilfred Bouma (PSV) and Philiphe Mexes (AS Roma).
Liverpool are also after Nobby Solano of Aston Villa.

The good news for Anderlecht is that Djibril Cissé might leave Liverpool for Marseille. The French striker might leave on loan. Coach Rafael Benitez said that the striker does not have a place within the team.
