Walter Baseggio didn't know what was happening yesterday. First he trained with the reserve team, because Franky Vercauteren didn't want him to go to Prague.

Later on, he trained with the first team, and he even travelled to Czech Republik. "We clearly have a problem, and we have to find a solution", stated Baseggio. "A transfer is a serious option."

"This situation is getting out of hand", reacted Luca Pelizzon, the manager of Walter Baseggio. "Vercauteren is really exaggerating now. They are breaking him and his transfer value. Anderlecht will be satisfied now with one million euros for him."

Anderlecht wouldn't mind a transfer of Walter Baseggio, on condition that he moves abroad. Only if Standard want to exchange Onyewu for Walter Baseggio, a transfer to another Belgian team seems possible.
